Ein Gespräch der Künstler*innen Iyad Dayoub, Pınar Öğrenci, Vangjush Vellahu und Antje Majewski
On the occasion of the exhibition Angst, Keine Angst, the four artists Iyad Dayoub, Pınar Öğrenci, Vangjush Vellahu, and Antje Majewski recorded a conversation about the exploration of fear, anxieties and the moment of panic throughout their respective artistic practices. In their exhibited works The Mask (2020), A New Year’s Eve (2021), and A Tool of Resistance (2021), the artists delve into different territories of conflict—Syria, Turkey, and Israel and Palestine—and re-examine their entangled histories with, and personal viewpoints of the uncertainties and dangers of those regions.
